Our Story
WildTide Africa was built on a friendship that goes back to childhood. Founders Chris and Conraad grew up together, forged their bond on the rugby field, and spent every free moment on the water — chasing fish the way only kids with a whole wild coastline ahead of them can.
Both went on to play professional rugby, and the game taught them what nothing else could: teamwork, discipline, and respect — for your teammates, your opponents, and the arena you compete in. Those same principles now run through everything WildTide does, from how we plan an expedition to how we treat the waters we fish.
We started WildTide to share the experiences we were lucky enough to grow up with: high-end fishing expeditions in Mozambique, Sodwana Bay and Cape Town — world-class adventures with local knowledge, exclusive access, and no compromises. Every expedition we run is one we'd want to be on ourselves.

Each stickbait and popper is handcrafted in South Africa, moulded, weighted and tested in the very waters we fish, with one goal: to look and swim so naturally that big fish can't leave them alone.
